About

Where’s Beth is the indie folk-pop project of songwriter Sarabeth Weszely.

Shortly after releasing her debut EP, for my mom & other lovers, Where’s Beth built a DIY recording studio in her New York City apartment and began the deeply collaborative project that would become Bone Broth (September 20, 2024). Bone Broth is an emotionally charged, strikingly honest, and at times humorous exploration of the domestic, written in the months surrounding the wedding of Sarabeth and her collaborator Jesse Thorson. The record was produced by Sarabeth, John-Lewis Anderson, and John Mark Nelson with the help of many friends.

The raw devotional quality of Sarabeth’s writing draws on longtime influence, Sufjan Stevens, and her unconventional approach to rhyme and phrasing recalls the likes of Joni Mitchell and Connie Converse. Where’s Beth now writes and records from the Pacific Northwest.
